While extra skin and lots of elasticity make sense, many people often don’t think of bone structure as being a factor in whether or not you are a candidate for getting a facelift. However, good bone structure supports the alterations that the plastic surgeon is making and helps to ensure that you’ll have better results.
Are you in good overall health?
This is the most important question you have to ask yourself. Age isn’t necessarily a factor, as candidates may be anywhere from 40 to 70 years old. It is essential, though, that you be in good physical health. The healthier you are, the faster and smoother the recovery will be.
