While we have never had any doubts that cosmetic procedures can improve quality of life (we only have to look at our patients and how happy they are), up until recently there have been very few studies done on the subject.

However, there have been, in recent years, a number of studies that have evaluated the effects of aesthetic procedures on a patient’s quality of life. The studies have, as a whole, reaffirmed the life-enhancing benefits of tampa cosmetic surgery.

But how do we define “quality of life”?

To establish whether or not someone’s quality of life has improved, you have to look at the patient’s social, physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing. Things like self-esteem and confidence all are factors that contribute to the “quality of life” assessment.
