TAMPA, FL. JANUARY 14TH, 2014- BIG NUMBER FOR DECEMBER, ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT

With the busyness around the holidays, December is a challenging month to get through at the Mack Center. 12 Days of Deals were going strong as well as many patients trying to get treated before the family Christmas pictures! December also has it’s busy flux of patients trying to schedule surgery as they have reached the end of the year and met their deductible. What does all this have to do with the Mack Center? When you have a busy month with specials, holidays, vacations and met deductibles; there just cannot be enough time in the day to do surgery can there? Wrong, William P. Mack, M.D. of Tampa, FL successfully helped 108 patients achieve their surgery goals in December.

One hundred and eight surgeries for the Mack Center in one of their busiest months of the year! Dr. Mack’s reputation for his natural and rejuvenating approach to surgery has placed him on the top of the facial cosmetic surgery scene. Dr. Mack performs his surgeries at his own state of the art surgery center, Tampa Bay Surgery Center, Brandon Surgery Center, Seascape Surgery Center and Belleair Surgery Center.

From cancer reconstruction to a facelift, Dr. Mack was performing his broad spectrum of surgical procedures in the month of December and somehow managed to fit a vacation with his family in there! As an oculoplastic surgeon, William P. Mack, M.D. helps patients through the reconstruction post Moh’s surgery around the eyes and face. “We advertise our cosmetic procedures throughout the community, however, our insurance patients for cancer, tearing issues and other eyelid problems come from our loyal referring doctors throughout Tampa Bay” states Jenny, Marketing Director for the Mack Center. Office Manager, Angela Sessa, said that “It makes for a really dynamic day when you see a 40 year old BOTOX Cosmetic patient and then a 90 year old Basal Cell Carcinoma patient. As a board certified Ophathalmologist, Dr. Mack obtained a fellowship in Facial Cosmetic Surgery. “I like the diversity as at captures your heart to see a patient become cancer free and it also makes you proud of your doctor and practice when you help a cosmetic patient achieve their aesthetic goal” stated Lorry, Surgical Coordinator of the Mack Center.

The Mack Center offers numerous facial cosmetic procedures. From a facelift to remove the unwanted skin laxity/wrinkles, to a upper blepharoplasty to improve the patients vision and/or appearance, Dr. Mack can help! The upper blepharoplasty procedure is performed by Dr. Mack to reduce the tired baggy appearance of the upper eyelids. During the eye surgery, incisions are made in the crease of the upper eyelid to remove excess skin and fat. The advantage of making the incision in the eyelid crease is that the scar is barely noticeable after a few months. The lower blepharoplasty is performed to reduce this tired look and restore a more energetic and youthful appearance. The advantage of the tranconjunctival approach to lower eyelid surgery is that the incision in placed inside the lid so that no visible scar is evident. Dr. Mack also performs ptosis repair (levator advancement) for patients who have a weak upper eyelid muscle and also browlifts.
