TAMPA, FL. JUNE 13TH, 2013- THE MACK CENTER TEAM STORMED VEGAS FOR THE MULTI-SPECIALTY COSMETIC SURGERY MEETING.

Tampa, FL. June 13th, 2013- The Mack Center team stormed Vegas for the Multi-Specialty Cosmetic Surgery Meeting.

Dr. Mack and two staff members went back to Las Vegas to further their knowledge in hopes of bringing great changes and enhancements to the Mack Center. Recently, the leading medical doctors from the fields of Oculoplastic Surgery, Dermatology and Facial Plastic Surgery came together to educate other aesthetic surgeons as well as residents and fellowship students. Doctors, as well as select office staff, sat in on new surgical techniques, controversies, public relations and marketing/social media strategies.

Dr. William P. Mack, Angela Sessa (Office Manager) and Jenny Barker (Media Director) spent the week of June 24th, 2013 at The Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Mack was re-invited to be a faculty presenter by the Multi-Specialty Foundation for Aesthetic Surgical Excellence (F.A.S.E.) for the 9th Annual Facial Cosmetic Surgery 2013 (An International Multi-Specialty Symposium.)  Dr. Mack has been a featured faculty presenter and moderator for the last 8 years. Dr. William P. Mack presented Thursday morning: “A Detailed and Simple Method of Ptosis Repair for those New to the Procedure but Skilled in Cosmetic Blepharoplasty.” Moderated by himself and Dr. Guy Massery, MD, Dr. Mack had a great turn out and even greater feedback from many other physicians. Later, Dr. Mack moderated the late morning session. These featured speakers covered such presentations as; Transblepharoplasty Browlift and Lower Lid Fat Reposition, The Art of the Asian Blepharoplasty and the Pearls and Pitfalls of Aesthetic Blepharoplasty. On Thursday William P. Mack, M.D. presented in the General Session discussing “Ptosis After Upper Lid Blepharoplasty- Missed Diagnosis or Latrogenic and How to Correct” before heading back to Tampa for his son’s National basketball championships. Dr. Mack did a quick 24 hour trip to Vegas, but his staff was able to get the full value of the meeting!

The Vegas Cosmetic Surgery 2013 meeting ran June 26th-June 30th. Just a few of the topics that were exposed to many doctors, fellowship students, residents, office staff and marketing managers were: facelifts, lower eyelid surgery, practice management, marketing skills, facial implants, upper eyelid surgery, neck lifts, endoscopic browlifts, social media and blogging, laser resurfacing, and facial fillers. Dr. Mack’s experiences and educational sessions are beneficial to the private practice and he acknowledged that “I was very disappointed to only stay for such a short time, however, I had to coach my son’s basketball team! It’s a great meeting that I’m sad I missed out on, but fortunate to still have the opportunity to educate/present and be there for my team and son!”

Dr. Mack, Angela and Jenny were very pleased with the knowledge that the Vegas facial cosmetic surgery meeting provided them to bring back to the staff and practice in South Tampa, FL. “This is my second year attending the meeting. At first I thought what’s the point of going back again? However, the amount of new knowledge and ideas I came back with just makes me excited for next year and the years to come! It is by far the most educating and idea filled meeting I’ve attended!” said Jenny (Marketing Director.) Dr. Mack plans on implementing many of the new techniques and marketing/management procedures that are pertinent to his practice.
