The Yag component of the laser at the Mack Center is available to treat blood vessels and hemangiomas of the face, legs and body. Using the Yag hand piece, vessels are traced until resolution. The procedure is very tolerable and virtually painless. Patients may be slightly pink and swollen for about an hour after the procedure on the face. Legs can look bruised for 6-8 weeks. One to three treatments may be needed and packages are available to pre-purchase at a discounted rate.
