Marketing Director, Jenny Barker, and BOTOX® Cosmetic Rep, Lisa, partnered up to create an educational event on February 28th at Noon, for those interested in the very popular BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments available at the Mack Center. On Friday February 28th, guests who RSVP’d prior to the event were able to attend the educational seminar.
Allergan® employee, Lisa, walked attendees through the science, benefits and concerns of BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments as well as answered any questions the guests had. Through this educational event, hosted at the Mack Center, Lisa and Jenny were able to educate patients about the benefits of BOTOX® Cosmetic and ease the worried minds of “newbies” to BOTOX®!
At the end of the seminar, attendees were offered an amazing special on BOTOX® Cosmetic to help jumpstart their love for the great treatment! When guests purchased 20 units of BOTOX® Cosmetic for $12 per unit, they received a complimentary 24 units for treatment of their crow’s feet. That’s almost a $300 savings! The topic of Crow’s Feet was a strong subject at the seminar as Allergan®, creators of BOTOX® Cosmetic, got their FDA approval for injecting BOTOX® Cosmetic to treat the crow’s feet, also known as “lateral canthal lines.” The FDA website announced that they have “approved a new use for Botox Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe lateral canthal lines, known as crow’s feet, in adults. Botox Cosmetic is the only FDA approved drug treatment option for lateral canthal lines. The FDA approved Botox® Cosmetic in 2002 for the temporary improvement of glabellar lines (wrinkles between the eyebrows, known as frown lines), in adults. Botox® Cosmetic works by keeping muscles from tightening so wrinkles are less prominent.”
Even though the units have to be used prior to May 31st, 2014, patients banked these units to schedule at a later date as the educational seminar did not include any injections at the event. “The event was created to help the un-sure, naive and worried patients new to BOTOX® Cosmetic” said Jenny. “Lunch was provided for attendees as they sat and enjoyed a wonderful presentation by our BOTOX® Cosmetic Rep” stated Jenny before also mentioning that there will be a huge Facial Filler special coming up on March 20th and March 31st, 2014 for both new and current patients of the Mack Center!
