WHAT IS AN OBAGI RADIANCE PEEL?

Feel like your complexion has lost some of its glow and want to start the year with fresh, younger looking skin? A chemical peel may be the perfect solution! When it comes to chemical peels, the Obagi Radiance Peel is a great choice for treating a variety of skin problems, including wrinkles, sun damage, and acne scars (there’s a reason we have this treatment as our Staff Pick of the Month for January)!

Obagi has been a trusted name in the skin care industry for years and for that reason many people will seek out this treatment by name. However, we understand that no two peels are created equal, so what is the Ogabi Radiance Peel, exactly?

Well first of all, a peel, in general, is used to treat a variety of skin woes that plague even great complexions. Every Obagi peel is designed to reduce and eliminate the appearance of problems like scarring, hyperpigmentation, age spots and damaged skin. However, some peels are stronger than others and may require longer recovery times.

The Obagi Radiance Peel is primarily composed of salicylic acid, which is used to exfoliate the skin.Because it’s less intense, it’s most appropriate for superficial skin problems like fine lines and wrinkles, mild to moderate sun damage, uneven tone and texture, acne and acne scarring. You should expect to experience some redness after your treatment, so it’s best to use a heavy moisturizer as well as sunscreen after your Radiance Peel.

If you’re looking for more of a traditional peel to get rid of age spots and hyperpigmentation, we have other great options for you as well. We recommend scheduling an appointment to discuss the problems you want addressed so we can point you toward the best solution.

If you are interested in a Radiance Peel, we have a great deal this month where each peel is $125 or you can pay $250 for a 3-peel package.
