EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RESTYLANE

Thanks to dermal fillers and Botox, laser treatments and ultrasound technology, microdermabrasion, and many other countless treatments, it’s no longer necessary to undergo invasive cosmetic procedures in order to achieve a more youthful appearance. One treatment in particular that we’re a fan of is Restylane.

What is Restylane?

Restylane is a dermal filler that uses your body’s natural chemistry to help you achieve amazing, age-defying results.

This filler is made of hyaluronic acid, a molecule found naturally in the body that helps to lift the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles for up to one year. Since it’s a natural component of the skin, it’s extremely unlikely that you would have an allergic reaction to the treatment.

Some areas we commonly treat with Restylane include:

  • Nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds)
  • Crow’s feet (periorbital lines)
  • Smoker’s lines (perioral lines)
  • Smile lines
  • Worry lines (glabellar lines)
  • Frown lines (forehead lines)

Looking for someone to perform injections?

While you should consider the affordability of the injections, cost should definitely not be the only factor that you look at (or even the main factor). Remember, you’re going to be wearing the results of your cosmetic procedure in a highly conspicuous location: your face. You definitely don’t want to shop around for the lowest price!

Always check to see how much experience the licensed injector has and ask to see before-and-after pictures. If you like the work that they have done, the next step is to set up a consultation to meet with the practitioner one-on-one. At The Mack Center, we offer complimentary consultations so that we can discuss your goals and which filler might be able to best meet them, whether it’s Tampa Restylane, another dermal filler, or even BOTOX.

Are there any side effects?

While the side effects from this treatment are typically minimal, you can expect to see at least slight bruising. Simply put, using a needle to inject material (even a natural substance) into tissue full of blood vessels makes it extremely likely that at least slight bruising will occur. The good news, though, is that our specialists at The Mack Center take great care to minimize significant bruising.

May Special for Restylane Silk
