SHOULD I GET A CHEMICAL PEEL?

If the words “face peel” or “chemical peel” make you want to cringe, you aren’t alone. Many people are uncomfortable with the idea, especially if they’ve seen the episode of Sex and the City where one of the characters dons a black veil after a treatment goes badly. However, when done right (and when done at The Mack Center), face peels can work wonders on even the most difficult complexions, including acne and uneven skin tone.

Common Misconceptions

One of the biggest misconceptions about peels is that the skin will look burned and bright red. Another misconception is that they will cause your skin to overproduce oil and actually produce more acne. Neither of these things is true.

What do peels do?

Face peels remove the top layers of skin to help with cell turnover. They can improve your skin texture, skin tone, minimize fine lines, and clear up acne.

Not all peels are created equal

There are a lot of different chemical peels on the market today, but not all peels are created equal.  Deep peels can require significant heeling time which may not be convenient for everyone.

The Ogabi Radiance Peel can improve the texture of your skin as well as the appearance in just minutes. This peel addresses a number of skin concerns, including photodamage, and provides an overall improvement in both texture and tone. One of the best parts about the Radiance Peel is that in addition to delivering noticeable results, you’ll also have little to no down time. You’ll instantly notice that you have tighter, smoother, brighter-looking skin after just one use.

Join us for our Peel and Reveal Party May 20th! Just $75 (usually this peel is $125 per treatment). We will have guests from Obagi and Colorescience who will be providing one-on-one consultations. You’ll also get a free Reveal Camera photo to assess your skin condition. There will be raffles and specials all day long, as well.  Contact us today at 813.875.5437 to RSVP.
