Earlier this month, Dr. William P. Mack presented to the Northdale OWLS at their monthly meeting in Carrollwood, Florida. For the past couple months, Jenny Barker, marketing director for the Mack Center, has been attending the monthly meetings to promote Dr. Mack and his practice. The Mack Center and other vendors pay to advertise and be at the monthly meetings, which helps the OWLS continue to function with the generous support of the vendors. On November 5th, Dr. Mack attended his first Owl meeting to present to over 200 seniors.
The OWLS listened to Dr. Mack talk about the effects your eyelids can have on your vision and the procedures he can perform to enhance your appearance, but more importantly help with vision impairment. He welcomed any of the members to attend his seminar for the OWLS that will take place at his private practice in South Tampa on January 8th at 12:00pm. Dr. Mack hopes that many of the members will schedule a consultation to see how he can aid in their vision improvement and also help with any other facial aesthetic concerns. Many of the attendees had questions about whether insurance would cover such procedures as an upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Dr. Mack and Jenny were able to walk the potential patients through the process and what to expect with insurance company approvals.
Dr. Mack is well known throughout the Tampa Bay area for his Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty procedure. Patients who undergo the blepharoplasty are doing so to remove access skin that is droopy and impairing their vision. Medicare and other insurances may pay for a portion of the procedure when patients undergo a thorough exam and take the visual field exam. Dr. Mack also performs cosmetic procedures such as Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty that is performed the remove the puffy (eye bag) appearance under the eyes. The Mack Center is also known throughout the South Tampa community as a state of the art location for skin care needs, aesthetic improvements such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM® and other facial fillers.
